INTERIM SOCIAL MEDIA STAFF
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Social Media Interim Managers will coordinate, plan, and post social media information on YWAM SF social media sites including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. These interim staff will work on a limited basis (5 hours per week) to create and strategize with the Communications Director and Staff what posts need to be going out, and then post at least 4 days of the workweek. Instagram and Facebook Stories will be used for events, teams working with YWAM and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use Airtable to schedule posts.
- Shoot and edit photographs as needed of volunteers, team participants, DTS participants, mission builders, ministry times and various YWAM events (like community night or fundraisers)
- Post to YWAM SF social media pages on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.Create relevant stories on Instagram leading up to events or posting during Mission Adventure Teams.
- Follow up on messages on Facebook and Instagram as needed.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO DIRECTOR
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provides administrative support for the director to ensure effective and efficient workflow
- Identifies the administrative needs of the director and exercises initiative in resolving situations not requiring the director’s attention.
- Anticipates regular and recurring administrative tasks and discusses with the director as needed to plan.
- Develops administrative procedures to run the “office of the director” efficiently.
- Maintains communication with various staff and community with regards to ongoing projects, on behalf of the director, though often responding to a wide range of inquiries independently and reporting to the director as needed.
- Off-site communication: emails/calls with Bay Area staff and other people we are working with on projects/ministry
- Researches, Collects and Reports data

OFFICE MANAGER
Office Manager: The job description of the YWAM SF office manager is to organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, and communication. Ultimately, the Office manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve YWAM’s procedures and day-to-day operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ongoing organization of office layout,
- helping to manage shared office space.
- Managing/assigning new mailboxes (staff personal and ministry)
- Office supply order and storage.
- Assist in the onboarding and departure process of new staff/departing staff
- Manage our phone system through Ringcentral
- Regularly update and distribute lists (Staff contact list, emergency contact list)
- Oversee the upkeep of equipment (photo copier, phones, computers, etc.)
- Managing and sorting emails.
- Mail, sort and distribute.

FACILITIES COORDINATOR
- Provides oversight to those doing maintenance and the purchase, repair and replacement of all physical equipment·

KITCHEN MANAGER
YWAM SF kitchen manager is responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of YWAMers in cooking, preparation, and sanitation and cleanliness.
Responsibilities…
- Ensure that all food is consistently prepared and served according to standards.
- Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
- Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.
- Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
- Oversee training of new staff, DTS, and interns.
- Prepare all paperwork- receipts (finance office) and schedules (managers meeting) in an organized and timely manner.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection.
- Work with ministry leaders to plan and price menu items. Establish portion sizes and prepare standard recipe cards for all new menu items.
- Oversee the training of kitchen personnel in safe operation of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Responsible for training kitchen personnel in cleanliness and sanitation practices.
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, hoods, other equipment and food storage areas.
- Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.

MISSION ADVENTURES/SUMMER OF SERVICE ORGANIZERS
Mission Adventures Staff Job Description:- Is to help lead MA teams and any other team or group that is coming to do outreach here at YWAM San Francisco. Leading outreaches, teaching in MA, giving spiritual guidance and supporting the group leaders while they are doing outreach with us.
Responsibilities:
- Must complete the Perspectives World Missions Class within first two years of staffing with YWAM SF.
- Supporting of the Department Leader and fellow outreach department staff
- Engaging and recruiting potential Youth groups, churches, college groups for outreach either as a MA group or outside of MA season. This may be done by phone calls, emails, personal visit of churches/youth groups in San Francisco or the bay area as well as tabling at conferences.
- Oversight and facilitating visiting teams, hot chocolate ministry as well as the kitchen, 357 basement and 369 basement facilities when teams are present
-During off season plugging into local volunteer opportunities as well as different base ministries. MA registrar.
- Staff are required to attend weekly staff meetings.
DROP-IN CENTER & STREET TEAM STAFF

DTS SCHOOL LEADER
DTS School Leader Job Description - Is the spiritual covering for the students and staff in the school, training the staff, connecting with the speakers, the classroom environment, curriculum development, coordination with the base, and day to day workings and flow of the school. Making sure the school fits the criteria and all the required program elements of the school. The school leader works with the (DTS) Training Director(s) in pre-planning of the school in the following areas:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must meet UofN qualifications and must uphold UofN Requirements (as outlined in the DTS Centre) for the school.
- Submits the school's preliminary weekly schedule and calendar to the (DTS) Training Director three months prior to start of the school. The final schedule must be submitted one month before the start of the DTS.
- Submits (if any) the school theme to the (DTS) Training Director.Submits school curriculum to the (DTS) Training Director.
- Submits possible outreach locations to the (DTS) Training Director. If outreach locations differ from those that we have adopted as YWAM SF, final approval is given by the Council.
- Submits finalized speaker list and discuss with (DTS) Training Director one month prior to start of the school.
- The DTS Training Director has the final authority to approve, deny, and/or revise the school's speaker list if needed. (This will not be done without an open discussion with School Leader and they will be given ample notice from the Training Director before any changes are made).
- Coordinates training of school staff with the (DTS) Training Director (depends on School Leader experience).
- Coordinates with the base for weekly activities such as: Worship, Work Duties, Ministry Schedules, and anything else that interacts with the base.
- Sits and discusses with the (DTS) Training Director (one month before the school starts) the overall and weekly budget to understand the Lecture/Outreach budget for DTS.
DTS SCHOOL STAFF
